That's it. The first ever weekend in WoodGrain Brewing Co.'s future-storied history is in the books.
We officially opened the doors to the taproom to the public at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, and the first four days were nothing short of a whirlwind of new faces, new friends, and a never-ending flow of beer. Exhilarating, exhausting, exciting...words are so difficult to find to describe how we feel tonight, but one thing is for sure. We are grateful.
I'm not sure I can really adequately thank everyone who has supported us, had faith in us, and patronized us during this process. Thank you to our families and all of their sacrifices, to our supporters and all of their risks, to our Founders and all of their faith, to all those who worked to build out the space, and to all those who walked through the door the first four days...Thank you.
In our first four days we sold more than 1,600 individually poured beers, more than 400 flights/sampler boards, served more than 2,000 customers, and gave out more than 40 pounds of pretzels!
It has been awesome, and all we can say is "Thank you." We look forward to serving more beer, sharing more stories, and making more friends. But in the mean time, "Cheers." And we'll see you later.
